The Hope Garden
located at the corner of S. 1st and Walnut St. in downtown Hailey
Established in the spring of 2010, The Hope Garden is a remarkable community asset.
What The Hope Garden Does:
Contributes fresh, organically grown produce to our Mobile Food Bank throughout the sumemr and fall months.
Provides vital empowerment programs for Hunger Coalition clients.
Offers an outdoor classroom to local schools and other community organizations for educational programs.
Provides demonstrations of various gardening techniques and living examples of native landscaping
What The Hope Garden Is:
More than 580 feet of irrigation trenches and pipe dug and laid by volunteers and clients.
9 garden plots containing 52 herb, vegetable and fruit varities providing healthy food for the hungry.
550 plant starts and 177 seed packets donated by community members.
A landmark educational center, gathering place, and quiet respite for everone to enjoy.
