Client Mentoring Program

In response to the continuing level of need and desperation throughout our community, we designed the Client Mentoring Program to increase employment potential and access to job opportunities, build self confidence, and offer our clients concrete and tangible assistance as they strive to transition out of food insecurity

The Client Mentoring Program brings community volunteers and clients together for a series of classes specifically-designed to help improve computer skills, increase their familiarity with internet navigation and operation, create resumes and cover letters, and more!

Beginning February 2012:  Open Computer Lab

Hosted by The College of Southern Idaho, Blaine Campus, Open Computer Lab offers clients of The Hunger Coalition, The Advocates and St. Luke's Center for Community Health an opportunity to improve their basic computer skills under the personalized direction of a trained, professional mentor.  Classes will be held twice a month at The Community Campus.  Please call Sharon at 788-0121 or email: sdohse@thehungercoalition.org for more information about how to register or become a volunteer mentor.
